| Abstract | Depending on which literature we use, ‘action research’ may be defined in slightly different ways. Yet, the basic principles are the same: close proximity to the research process, keen involvement in the research, and transformation. These foundational premises have a bearing on all forms of action research and raise ethical challenges that I explore in this article. |
