Abstract | This chapter provides a brief background to Russia before considering employment equality legislation and recent diversity issues and initiatives. The chapter also introduces findings from a study of HRM managers working in large indigenous Russian companies and foreign MNCs (Colgan, Layden and McKearney, 2012). It will explore their perceptions of the legislative context and the diffusion and application of Diversity management in Russian organisations. |
