Abstract | This chapter reflects on learning health promotion in the UK from a student perspective. Written during the COVID-19 pandemic, when health promotion education and practice operationalised online settings to comply with social distancing measures, it considers the roles of digital health literacies in promoting health. It also discusses how students of health promotion are introduced to the field and the impact these initial encounters have on framing students’ orientation to and thinking around health promotion, particularly settings-based health promotion. |
