Description

Civilization: The Way We Live Now features more than two hundred works from one hundred international photographers. The exhibition considers patterns of mass behavior and the complexities of life in twenty-first-century urban environments. This show originated at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul. Work by Mike Kelley, Vera Lutter, Taryn Simon, Edward Burtynsky, Thomas Struth, Anne Zahalka etc. Curated by William A. Ewing and Holly Roussell.
A publication has been produced by Thames & Hudson in parallel with the exhibition.
The exhibition is co-produced by the Foundation for the Exhibition of Photography, Minneapolis/New York/Paris/Lausanne and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, in consultation with the National Gallery of Victoria.
