Abstract | In 2020-2021, LSBU marked 100 years of encouraging women to study engineering subjects. This article looks at the project to find out more about this aspect of the institution's history, and some of the women who were profiled as part of it. Profiles included former students and staff, and highlighted broad themes in women's history - including the importance of mentorship and role models, issues around expectations of women, and archival silences. |
