Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2016

Woodstream is a three dimensional structure that expresses the complexity of surfaces and volumes that can be obtained using six-axes machining processes. Masses and volumes intersect each other like roots to create an array of overlapping patterns generated using complex toolpaths strategies. The sculpture in scale 1:10 represent the conceptual model of the gigantic sculpture developed for Scm Group for a total length of 22 meters and displayed in Hannover.
